Here is a handy reference chart that shows all of the different animal tracks that can be found around the farm. These animal prints are not shown in actual size but a size reference is given on the chart.
As you can see lots of the animal tracks are similar in shape but have just a little different markings or an extra toe, making it easy to eliminate certain animals that could be prowling around your barn. There are differences in the front and back feet of most animals so be sure to look at that.
If you have found animal tracks on your property (or anywhere for that matter) and you need help identifying them, just take a picture of them so that there is no discrepancy as to what you saw. You can look at your image and then look back to this page and be able to quickly figure out what kind of animal it is.
